Have you ever wanted to learn how to create your own personal web page, learn new tech skills, visit local businesses all while making new friends and having fun? If the answer is yes---then have we got the program just for you!!
The Berkshire Applied Technology Council and the Berkshire Tech Prep Consortium, together with Berkshire Community College are recruiting for the Women on Tech Path Summer Web Academy which will take place on Monday, July 14th through Friday, July 18th at Berkshire Community College. The program will be a combination of web design instruction, tours of local business, team building exercises and recreational activities such as visiting Mass MoCA. Participants will develop a personal web site and design a web site that will highlight the Women on TechPath 2003 program. The web instruction portion will take place in an AIR CONDITIONED COMPUTER LAB AT BERKSHIRE COMMUNITY COLLEGE!! This program is free to participants through a grant from the Massachusetts Department of Education and the Berkshire County Regional Employment Board.
